Meet Shawn, a retired Navy veteran with over 18 years of experience as a Special Warfare Combatant Crewman (SWCC). Conducted land and sea operations supporting Naval Special Warfare (NSW) globally.  Shawn is now the proud owner of a  fly fishing charter service based in picturesque Pass Christian, Mississippi. Drawing on his extensive experience navigating the world's waters, Shawn brings a unique blend of skill and passion to every fishing excursion.

25' Panga

ABOUT THE BOAT

High bow average beam supper shallow draft (so much fun) 

I am running a traditional 25'panga because! In order to get safely to the Islands, I must cross a 90 mile long, 12 mile wide body of water known as the Mississippi Sound. The sound can get gnarly quickly. Operating a boat with a bow that delivers greater buoyancy and slightly taller gunwales increases the odds of keeping the sea out. The boat poles extremely shallow with two clients and is more stable than any other skiff I have fished off of, making it safer and more enjoyable for older legs that still desire the hunt and sport of sight fishing.
